judging 7 semi/really bad plays yesterday was worth it because I spent the entire day with Mr. Henry, mostly making fun of people. And there was a free lunch involved. Not a bad deal. Congrats to Merry, Mick, Joe, Martin, and Eva --the one really good show-- on winning! Awesome show, guys.

As soon as I got back from the plawriting compitition Miles pulled into the driveway to take me out to dinner for my birthday. I broke the sound barrier trying to change into dinner-worthy attire and make myself presentable in, like, 45 seconds. Ever see someone brushing their teeth and putting nylons on at the same time? I caught myself in the mirror, it's pretty funny. But I caught my breath in the car on the way over to the restaurant. Benjamin's, I think it was. In Taunton. At the risk at sounding incredibly mundane, it is the coolest restaurant I have ever been to. Floor to ceiling, 18 foot, bookshelves and lit fireplaces. We had dinner right on the balcony and it was absolutely fantastic. There was a funny incident with a scallop- they make a very interesting sound when they hit wood- but everything else was wonderful. We talked about plays and computer games and had a thrilling discussion about the Big Bang theory and entropy. Miles even wore a sweater. It was one of the best nights I have ever had.

Cait just bought her dress yesterday. I'm in the process of ordering mine. Ahh, the Strapless Wonder. Almost as good a name as Nighttime Passion.
