Life is utterly fantastic. Its Hades in here, and I'm sweating just sitting at my computer, but I'm thrilled with living right now.
Cait and I went on SHOE SHOPPING (dainty peasants are skipping through meadows trailing flower petals behind them at the very words; SHOE SHOPPING)and we were very successful. Cait's are amazing little ribbon-y things, and mine are Steve Madden 1950's pumps with a half bow and two strategic grommets. They are orgasmic shoes. I was temporarily stunned from their beauty and actually spent $55 dollars on them, but they are just that good. I'm still bringing slippers to prom to dance in, but those shoes will be stunning even sitting on a chair next to my purse.
May is upon us. Nothing but field trips, proms, sunshine, and finals as far as the eye can see. I love May. In the past week, I've bought a pinata, joined NHS, danced in my kitchen to dirty martini, ate three bowls of strawberries, and got kissed very well on a boat. Six Flags and French toast on Friday. Saturday I'm dressing like Cinderella and dancing with my glorious boyfriend till my legs give out.
And Birkelah: Don't fret. I know how to pitch a tent.
