it was quiet and kind of windy, and my hair was falling from behind my ears and into my face.  he took my hand, with his fingers between mine.  i tried to match my pace with his, then he stopped.  he looked right into my eyes and said "I am in love with you".  then he kissed me on my forehead and we just kept walking.

we went out for dinner today and had a picnic in the back of the van with the door wide open, looking out at the cranberry bogs.  i was wearing all black, with a blue ribbon tied on my belt loop.   we stayed there a while, just next to each other.  the calzone was messy and it took us a while to find napkins.  i learned a few things, and he suprised me with his cinnamon breath strips.  there are two bibles on the dashboard in his van, and a cigar in the cup holder.  Vindicated came on the radio again and i sang with the sun in my eyes and cringed at commercials.
