"Dear Emerson Admissions Officer,
I am a seventeen-year-old girl who loves English Literature and the arts. I am 5'10'', with blue eyes, golden brown hair, and a rosy disposition. My family is of English, Scottish, and Swiss and German decent. I grew up in a small suburban town in Massachusetts and attend the local United Methodist church. I live with my parents, younger sister, dog, and two cats.
In none of these aspects would one qualify me as "diverse". In fact, I would wager that I am not the only tall, blond, Anglo-Saxon Protestant with a flair for the dramatic that is applying to Emerson this year. However, despite my lack of conventionally distinctive characteristics, I believe that I possess many good qualities that would add to the diversity of a unique school like Emerson."
and then I will go on to discuss my qualities that will add to the overall diversity of the school, as the application question requests. If you have any ideas, I'm open to suggestions.
have a fantastic Tuesday!
